We are excited to invite you to our 17th Annual Sickle Cell Walk, dedicated to raising awareness and support for individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. The James R. Clark Sickle Cell Walk is a community-driven event that brings together people from all walks of life to make a positive impact.
The walk aims to:
Raise Awareness: By participating in this event, you'll help spread awareness about sickle cell disease and its impact on individuals and families. Together, we can educate our community and dispel misconceptions about this genetic blood disorder.
Support Patients: Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting patients living with sickle cell disease. Your contributions will provide much-needed resources, including medical care, education, and advocacy.
Foster Unity: The Sickle Cell Walk is an opportunity to come together as a community and show support for those affected by sickle cell disease. By walking side by side, we can demonstrate compassion, solidarity, and hope for a brighter future.
Whether you are a survivor, a caregiver, a medical professional, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, we welcome you to join us on September 30, 2023. Together, let's take steps towards a world where sickle cell disease is better understood, better treated, and ultimately cured.
